How can I activate slide view?
I installed everything ultrashot listed as "Dependencies" and also panel manager and panel launcher. But once I click x-panel button, it goes directly to X2 panel manager.

hard reset the second time. I think it is because of panel manager or contentpanel. after soft reset, cannot go to start menu. also, the taskmanager disappear from the screen.

I think my error is because of 16_FlashPanelPackage. after install this and restart, x1 cannot go to start menu and task manager

i cant get slideview to work, installed all files listed in first post plus copied other files from rar and then added regs.

everything works ok but when i press the x key nothing happens. tried starting slideview from program files but it came up as error.

I can't install DRMclient.CAB and I don't know how to install it manually using resco explorer ( I tried but I didn't find a way ) ... do I need to install DRMclient or it can work without it ?
If I need to please help me with manuall install

First, I want to say that nearly all problems belong to SE. I've only repacked cabs and patched.
Second, I've installed nearly all cabs to my own HTC/SE X1-based WM6.5 ROM. And I haven't got any problems with them.
Third, if you can't install something (that's possible on some ROMs...), leave everything for chiefs.

How to install DRM client manually? Copy all files to \Windows\, apply *.reg file using Resco Registry Plugin or any registry editor. DRM client is MUST-HAVE. If you haven't installed it, SlideView won't work.

Then... There are no new drivers because I've unpacked only cabs.
Next... If SlideView is correctly installed, after Soft-Reset you will get links to it in start menu automatically.
There is a very good Debugger to see missed DLLs or debug_printf calls. Finding it now...

P.S. I forgot to say that SDKCerts are needed as a lot of programs are patched and resigned.

do u think it could be because in running 6.1 that slideview is not working.

ps. panel manager works through start menu favorites.

no, SlideView is working on 6.1. I've runned it before on it. Possibly missed DLLs is your problem.

Then. That's official cabs. They don't have patched keypad.dll, they don't map PMLauncher to X-Key. So you can use files from Software Library for it

ok I can see that this is not as easy as I thougt and I'm still not so much "in" WinMo yet couse I was on symbian till end of november.
I think that I'm gonna wait for a coocked ROM

This cabs were made special for X2, not for X1. I haven't changed anything in them.
