Xperia XZ2 compact doesn't show in Flashtool

I want to flash the newest stock rom on my Xperia XZ2 Compact.
However, when in flashtool and trying to flash the rom. I need to select my device in device filter.
But it does not show the Xperia XZ2 compact (H8314) anywhere. When syncing with the github server, 72 devices are synced, but don't include the XZ2C.
Can I do something to bypass this as this will make it impossible for me to flash using flasthool..

I'm having the same issue. It was there before but it bricked the phone. All new downloads from Xperifirm (through Flashtool or not through Flashtool) don't include the XZ2 or XZ2 Compact.

I have been trying to get this phone going for over 6 months. I might just buy a Google Pixel and live with the bigger size

What method can we use now to flash ROM on XZ2C?

use newflasher, flashtool is deprecated

I use xperifirm and newflasher for m xz2 without trouble
