Xperia XZs and Xperia XZ Premium

Heay Guys!
Do you think the normal Xperia XZ will be on the same Updating Plan as the 2 new Flagships ?
I originally bought the Phone because I wanted to have a longtime support and Sony announced that it will be the only flagship for one year (Well apparently not :S).
Also I would be interested if guys think that the new Design on the 2 new Phones will be coming to the XZ (I think they will probably port it since they all share the same name).

Imho,
The XZs is like the original xz with an additional gigabyte of RAM and some fancy camera tactics

The xz premium is a larger xz with slightly larger battery ( smaller than z5 premium "3400mAh")
With fancy camera optics

If you have the XZ stay with it, I am pretty confident the original XZ will get the same level of support too

Yep everything is the same, body , screen, battery, front camera, same Cpu
Only from 3 GB ram to 4 GB ram now.
And a new camera , let's see how it is.


Sony should use the 821 Cpu , and still for the flapship NO flash for the front camera? ... also no irda.... or maybe Radio = ( but this is to much )

I'm waiting for September to see what they give us

I think the same, also Im using Sony since the Z1 and I really feel ripped of with updates, Samsung and Co sent updates for probably 2 years maybe more or less.
But Sony only sents like 6 months - 1 year since they released a new phones anyways. If they would release one every year (flagship level) they would release more updates.
I really hope they wait till September with the release and add the xz (normal) to the update line :S If not I probably switch my main brand to something else

Yeah, four months after buying Sony's flagship XZ they announce *two* better phones! Even the new midrange XA gets 4GB of RAM. That's just shoddy, especially when everyone said that the XZ had insufficient RAM for a late 2016 flagship. At least with Apple and Samsung your flagship phone stays that way for a whole year.

Sony XZ/XZs/XZP is the same family which gives you the hint like the Z5 family, plus XZ/XZs share the same SD820.

In a way this a good thing for XZ it means it should get 2 major updates still, to 9.0.

I dont really care about the new camera too much in the XZs and XZP but the XZ should of also come with 4gb ram, thats my only complain.

Nope, or not as good as it is on XZs and XZP.
The slow mo thing is a part of the Camera sensor, so unless you switch phone, no yumy slow mo for ya, and me :crying:
