4.4.4 is nice.. I Find same battery life as in 4.4.2, but with speed and smoother UI...
Used 3g for a whole day, Wifi for a while, Played one game for like half hour, Music for 1 hour or so, Auto Sync was ON, Stamina Mode..

Strangely enough, i got some better results outta few tiny experiments.. :D And ofc Caliberation technique helped a lot.. ;)

As screenshots show, Wifi/Data was always ON, Always play Candy crush for like 45-60 mins every day.. Music for a while ,a few calls for like 5-10 mins, Browsing and facebook, whatsapp and hangouts are most used. Little bit of Camera work as well.. Still got the best outta XZ..

Check this.. (Warning, huge images)

Awesome....

Damm*t.. I'm not happy with that :(
When I flash stock ROM I always face WiFi drops. It's fine on other non stock ROMs. I want the stock features so bad. But the WiFi is killing me :(

Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade my XZ to 4.4.4, is it advisable, because I can see that so many users have faced battery drain problem after upgrading to 4.4.4.

Kindly advise, I don't want to charge it more than twice in a day.

Thanks

My new Xperia Z, running 4.4.4 KitKat, randomly restarts, but not when I'm have bluetooth connected and Pandora or walkman on. basically, when I'm using it, no restart, but when idle, it seem to restart. why is that?

I advice both of u to reflash stock ftf with clean wipe of your data, backup ur internal/extrnal sd and flash.. Make a clean install to avoid these probs..

basically, that's what I did, gotta wait to see if it'll happen again. hopefully not.
btw, same thing happen to 2 of my Xperia T and SP. someone suggest to replace the battery, I did and it didn't restart again. I'm hoping I don't have to replace the battery for the Z, but if I do, how can I do it and reseal the water-resistant seal? no one except official Sony Repair could, right?

From what I know you have 2 options: either you buy a new back panel (because it comes with the double sided adhesive tape applied), or you search for a double sided adhesive tape that's exactly the same width and thickness as the one that's currently applied on the device and replace the old one.
But imho replacing the back-panel is the best option to be as sure as possible that water wouldn't enter because of defective adhesive tape placement.

P.S.: don't forget to be extremely careful not to overheat the battery inside the device when you'll open the back-panel, because it might explode.

Mwa , i don't know cause you didnt use your Phone, maybe only some calls, since screen is only at 12%.. Then i think its not good, since If i dont use my Phone overnight in say 9 hours , it drains max 3%...
Do u use Facebook or internet on your Phone?
