It's not supposed to be a zip file.it's supposed to be a ftf file.
Unzip it and if u get ala ftf file then that's the correct one. If not, then u hav to find the correct file

in this thread , There are two files, first prerooted 5.1.1 rom , and second kernel, do i have to flash both file with dual recovery after flashing 5.0.2 rom? or just need to flash 5.1.1 rom?

So far the only way to have root is to flash a pre-rooted 5.1.1 rom.
Since you are already on the 5.1.1 firmware, you'll have to downgrade to the 5.0.2 firmware, root it(the easiest way is to use Kingroot),install recovery(i recommend the XZDualrecovery),download the pre-rooted 5.1.1 rom and flash it via the new recovery u installed.
i have tried to flash but this error occur.

downloading prerooted 5.1.1 for c6602

As @cdou2391 mentioned in the beginning of this post ,
I am downloading 5.1.1 prerooted for my c6602 (bootloader Locked) and about to flash FTF by FlashTOOL (0.9.19.10).
i am running 5.1.1 on my c6602 , officially updated by Sonycompanion

however, i have seen you advising someone to downgrade first to 5.0.2 then use kingroot then install recovery...
he was also running his xperia on 5.1.1. my question is, why cant he just simply flash it prerooted ftf file?
or

Am i about to do something wrong?
waiting for your quick response :)

Because the ftf isn't pre-rooted.The pre-rooted is the zip file. That's the one you have to flash via recovery if you want to keep root.
If you flash the ftf file via flashtool, you will lose root if you had it.

U don't hav to unlock your bootloader to have recovery. And the ftf can not be pre-rooted.
And without previously installing recovery,u can not access what doesn't exist.
The only way to have root and recovery on 5.1.1 is to go back to 5.0.2,root it,install recovery then flash the pre-rooted u find here

As long as you are ok with staying with an unlocked bootloader
Follow the guide here since it's the kernel your article is talking about: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/development/kernel-ub-t3198491

Am not sure,but i think u'll get a bootloop.let me try it and I'll let u know.
I would advise u to make a backup before trying it out, just in case something goes wrong.

Edit:
Result: Do not try it.
After flashing the pre-rooted and locking the bootloader, the phone refused to boot.I had to unlock it again then restore the backup i made before starting all these sheninigans
