1. I unlocked bootloader
2. installed recovery
3. download the prerooted zip file and install it via recovery
4. then to avoid system mount error i flasshed the boot.img
and then boot
now i have the prerooted 5.1.1 installed with recovery and UB...

question is , in your tutorial why u mentioned to flash ftf file then? wouldnt it void my rooted 5.1.1 ?
or u just gave it as backup option incase something goes wrong and fone stuck in bootloop / error?
i mean once i have prerooted 5.1.1 installed i don't have to flash the ftf file via flash tool? right?
plz confirm/answer
thanksssssssssssss x 100

flashed ftf bit no root no recovery

The ftf tut part is for people who only wants to flash the firmware via flashtool.
If you're done flashing the pre-rooted zip the u're good to go!
Hi there, Thank you for sharing this rom. My phone is on locked bootloader, I just flashed the ftf file last night. It is great fix the charging problem. But I did not get the root and recovery. Do you need flash the recovery img file? I tried but it failed.

Flashing the ftf doesn't give you root for that u should have flashed the zip file via recovery.
If you want root, follow the steps posted on the comment #56

Cant boot to OS

I have C6603 version 10.3.1.A.2.67 Generic UK
Rooted, dualrecovery installed (with locked Bootloader)
After wipe data, davik ( not wipe system ) i flash the zip and skip the step: advanced kernel.
The phone booting but:
- DualRecovery LED not showing up, normally it's green led appears then i can choose vol up or down for Rcvry (It's seem I have lost all recovery)
- shown up SONY & ANDROID (or Xperia) for about 5~10sec then restart again...

I reflashed ver.10.3.1.A.2.67 to continued using till this problem solved.
Please help, thank you.

*i flash the zip twice ( reflash the jellybean to get root and recovery for flash again) but i'm still got that problem!

Since you are coming from kitkat you have to do a full wipe meaning wipe the system too.

I'm using 4.2.2 JellyBean, 10.3.1.A.2.67 Generic UK
Do i have to update to 4.4.4 or 5.02 before install this?
I know what to do with flashtool, fastboot, zip, root, ftf, bootloader, TA,...
I'm advanced Xperia-2011 user!

It's recommended in order to avoid bugs
Yea, i got the phone only shown up Sony logo (Xperia or Adroid logo in the bottom, i forgot) shown up for about 5 to 10 secs then restart, no Recoveries LED, can't be reached I think, so i can install this rom when i'm in Android version 4.2.2?

To @naren9
Bootloader unlock allowed: Yes (your bootloader still in lock state)
Bootloader unlocked : Yes ( you bootloader in unlocked state)

Yes it's possible.
But it's recommended to flash via flashtool the 5.0.2 firmware, root it,install recovery then flash the 5.1.1 zip
Check the post #56. I listed the steps how to do that

I have attached the screenshot, its not showing anything like that
seems like you tried already unlocking bootlock... how did you unlock? did u follow procedure at developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader ? also if u forgot to deactivate the "My Xperia" ? check what is the status of My Xperia Theft protection? reactivate it and reboot and check again.
