They're taking about C6606 firmware for LTE band 4 AWS support. Those are North American LTE frequencies.try it doesnt work...flash modem from 6603 and ZL 660x and went to a LTE location, no go.
I flashed a file long time ago, it was from a ZL phone, for "LTE for cannadian user" or something like that in the thread doesnt work...They're taking about C6606 firmware for LTE band 4 AWS support. Those are North American LTE frequencies.
C6606 is the t-mobile us version of the XZ. your thinking of 65xx series.I flashed a file long time ago, it was from a ZL phone, for "LTE for cannadian user" or something like that in the thread doesnt work...

You responded 3 times but I still don't understand what you are talking about. You flashed a ZL firmware on a C6603 phone? They're two different phones right? So the chances of them not working is understandable.try it doesnt work...flash modem from 6603 and ZL 660x and went to a LTE location, no go.
you keep talking about flashing from the ZL which is the 650x not the 6606.try it doesnt work...flash modem from 6603 and ZL 660x and went to a LTE location, no go.
the modem files are the same...the band are the same...flashing a rom or firmware differently not gonna make it LTE..prove me wrong.you keep talking about flashing from the ZL which is the 650x not the 6606.
The 6606 is the new t-mobile usa XZ version.
no just the modem filesYou responded 3 times but I still don't understand what you are talking about. You flashed a ZL firmware on a C6603 phone? They're two different phones right? So the chances of them not working is understandable.
dont know about that...i believe just swap sim and use a differnt APNi think you need an LTE enabled sim to enable lte settings.....
cuz if you upgrade your connection to 4G they replace your simcard
also i'd love to get 4G in my c6602.......i only bought it cuz they claimed there will be no c6603 in our region but after 2 month they brought it < stupid Sony agent >
I don't think you actually read post #1? The OP explains that the C6602 probably contains all hardware to support the North American LTE band 4 (AWS).the modem files are the same...the band are the same...flashing a rom or firmware differently not gonna make it LTE..prove me wrong.
If indeed the hardware is the same, the modem has to be enabled. I have a 6606 and have flashed a 6602 and a 6603 4.2.2 rom(s) both function as they should and the really only difference is a quick settings lte toggle on the 6603 rom. Lte was unaffected and functioned the same as stock as far as speeds goI don't think you actually read post #1? There is a hack for it, it is called C6603.I really hope someone can find a hack for LTE much like the Nexus 4. After all, they use the same chips.
C6603 does not support North American LTE frequencies. C6606 does. There is a hack for it, it is called C6603.

Well it seems it does support some for t mobile. Supports 1 5 8 and misses 2 and 4 it supports many other lte bands but they aren't USA important. So meaning u should be able to get some lte on the C6603 better then the C6602C6603 does not support North American LTE frequencies. C6606 does.

Please read post #1, which explains why LTE band 4 could possibly be supported by C6602. There's also the fact that C6603 is not officially for sale in North America. I'm sure that many people would be very happy if LTE band 4 support could be enabled on their C6602, which is the reason for this thread.Well it seems it does support some for t mobile. But I have a question I have the C6603 obviously. I am gonna be going back to the USA. And since it supports 3 bands out of 5 it should be able to get some lte in some areas is that correct? Please read post #1, which explains why LTE band 4 could possibly be supported by C6602. Even with a few working bands? That's dumb. I wish only ones America would go what the rest of the world does and not always make it so it won't work. Always those stupid extras. Annoying. Just go by the standard. Just ones. Roll eyes. LolYour 6603 will have no lte connectivity whatsoever in the USA
