AW: Xperia Z development, all roms, kernels and developing info

It really does. Think about it, the recovery is included in the RAMDISK ;) there ia no need to have the physical files still in place once its running.
Short answer: we overwrite the stuff on the bootpartition on the fly from recovery.bootimg is included in updatezip and this way we updatr both rom and kernel.

The only thing I missed with HTC S-OFF and Sony is the ability to flash the boot through Recovery. Since the Recovery is within the Kernel I think it's never gonna happen with Xperia devices

I am currently on HTC right now but I don't find any tricks which relates on flashing a boot image to recovery partition. Are you trying to flash 2 types of kernel to simulate a dual boot?

You can always flash boot in recovery with Xperia devices :)

No, he just means that he wants to flash the kernel through recovery, not to recovery partition :)
