The thing in the video looks like an ordinary hair dryer to me. Hot air guns look very different. I've got one in my hands right now. And I'm NOT gonna use it on my phone. Please tell me you do actually realise the heat guns in those videos you linked provide a lot more heat than your phone will reach during regular (or even excessive) use. Those guns probably provide around 300 degrees (yes, celsius) hot air, if not more (in fact, probably more).
You shouldn't use either, but especially not a hot air gun, unless you know what you are doing of course... but most don't.The thing in the video looks like an ordinary hair dryer to me. Hot air guns look very different. I've got one in my hands right now. And I'm NOT gonna use it on my phone.
You're lucky guy, that's it. It's even a time question when your phone will die.I dipped my phone in water for aprox 15 seconds with an opening in the back cover. It got short circuited and screen started to go black i saw notification light go crazy. I tried to turn it on several times in that soaked condition it wouldnt boot up. Than i disassembled it completly used my mom's hair dryer and completely dried it. And **** wow i pressed the power button and it boot up like New with Zero litreally Zero Faults !!! i am not a fan of Xperia Phones but this really made me Amazed. I thought i would share this news with you. So Xperia Z is not that cheap **** at all. Its one Hard to kill device 3![]()
