Did you installed them using the win8 method?.Hi,
Seems my usb drivers don't work anymore in Windows 8.1. Tried every version of usb-drivers, removed existing drivers, disabled digital signing again but no succes.
Anyone with a solution already?
Yes I did. I'd hoped Windows 8.1 would leave the existing drivers alone, but it doesn't. Always the message that it can't install the drivers, tried three different versions.Did you installed them using the win8 method?.
One question that I have been searching an answer on for days now : I am worried about baseband version. Coming from thr Motorola defy, they have a baseband switcher to set the correct baseband for your country. I find plenty posts but almost no info on baseband for xz. How do you switch to the correct frequencies? I need to set to Australia Telstra. I don't know if flashing the new stock genetic 4.3 will enable me to use the phone here in Australia... Please help? You're almost right. Basically the baseband/radio-partition is the operating system that the main processor (Snapdragon S4 Pro) will boot on the modem co-processor (Gobi MDM9215M) to control communication. It mostly contains calibration data for the different radio frequencies and communication modes as well as software that abstracts this data into a common format for the Android operating system running on the main processor. Usually on Android (and most other) platforms there is a non-flashable bootloader for this co-processor which starts it up and waits for the baseband/radio-partition to be loaded into its memory.
