I have been flashing back from .253 to .434 to be able to root it, but after flashing the .434 firmware over the .253 using flashtool I got a bootloop.
The phone does actually boot, but when showing the launcher I get a message that it's updating NFC Firmware and while doing that it shuts off and the whole process starts again.

Does anyone know what to do?

After flashing the FIRMWARE...flash doomlords kernel (v07) go into recovery if you than reboot to system it will ask you if you want to root your phone (only when there isn't any root acces already).

How should I go into recovery?

I already flashed back the. 253 firmware which fixed the problem but I'm going to try it again tomorrow so I still would like to know!

Excuse me if it's a dumb question but I'm new to Sony.

have had exactly the same prob. and flashing another kernel means unlocking the bootloader. and the whole idea of flashing back to .434 is to do it without unlocking the bootloader..........

Not sure if anyone still reads this, but Stock Generic NL firmware FTF for Lollipop, basically the latest update ever for this phone for unbranded NL phones, is it available for download somewhere? I can't find it anywhere, the closest is CE1 but I'm looking for Generic NL specifically. Since the BL is unlocked, I can't just run OTA or the Companion.
