Your Device Should be Rooted & Custom recovery Installed like CWM, TWRP, Philz.

Installation Procedure:

(A)If you are making a Fresh Installation(or Coming from any other rom other than SOKP) :

• Flash boot.img
• Boot Into Recovery Mode
• Wipe Data,System,Cache,Dalvik
• Flash provide latest SOKP ROM Zip
• Again Wipe Cache and Dalvik
• Reboot To System
• Now again Reboot into Recovery Mode
• Flash latest G-Apps
• Wipe Cache and Dalvik and Reboot To System.

(B)If you are already Running SOKP Rom But You want to Update with latest Version:

• Boot Into Recovery Mode
• Flash provided Updates of SOKP ROM(latest weekly)
• Again Wipe Cache and Dalvik
• Reboot To System.

So, I got this weird bug with Slim Recents. Apps are not being displayed despite being in the background, upon closing and opening again they appear.
Furthermore, the network stats in the statusbar are all black - why? Don't know really. I've set them to white.

EDIT: Huh, it seems that installing Nova Launcher solved the issue completely. Curious.

Hey guys,

flashed the ROM yesterday, it works like a charm.

Only thing I cannot do anymore is get into recovery.
And I need to flash GAPPS.
I came from Paranoid and somehow managed to flash via CWM (although I had some mount sdcard1 issues)

Now I cannot access recovery. So what I did is
I flashed Pimped Kernel - Governors do really kick butt btw - nice battery life
originally I did it hoping to get into recovery

but - When I try to do the vol+ thing before the boot screen I get stuck with the orange LED.

Any ideas?

Strange thing...haven't had this issue... have you followed the procedures in OP? (flashed kernel provided with the Rom, wiped system etc... clean install always raccomanded)

Of course. Appears the only legitimate way for me.

Thing is that I initially had problems with mounting my SD in CWM, but in a head against brick wall manner I somehow figured it out.

After fastboot flashing the img I had to say bye to my recovery though. I tried with pimped kernel to get CWM back with no luck.

My device isn't bricked but this way I can't get GAPPS on my phone which is really awesomely sucking. Google contacts and stuff, I miss you...



EDIT: Solved the recovery problem by flashing PhilZ CWM... awesome.

After one day.

Fast. Smooth. Beat aoap ROM for sound. Good camera no stooped for one day. Battery's life. Awesome better than other ROM
