Hi guys, a friend asked me to repair her tablet Xperia Z4 SGP771, it does not boot at all.. It does have access to fastboot mode (blue light) and flash mode (green light).
This device had the bootloader unlocked and was rooted and, for some reason, she tried to factory reset it. It is dead since then...
I have no clue of which ROM version it had, or CDA, firmware.. location etc...
When I connected the device on PC (Win10) and try to verify connectivity via adb cmd the device list is empty, but when I tried to reboot into bootloader it was successful. (see pic1.jpg attached)
I tried to flash TWRP via fastboot but no success, see pic2.jpg, it says FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
I verified connections via flashtool, it says: Device Status: FASTBOOT mode, see pic3.jpg, which seems to be working fine..
Now, I was thinking to download a generic FTF firmware using XperiFirm and then flash it via Flashtool, is there anything I should know before proceeding on this step?
I will wait for any guide/light from you guys... thx in adv
