Error reporting:
Please, when reporting errors or problems:
  • Put up a notice in this thread providing the package name you used to install or update;
  • Include ROM name and/or FW version numbers;
  • Send me the contents of all the log files from right after a failed boot attempt or a link to an archive containing these logs by PM (that's including the .old rotation logs!). If you have no website or online location to store the logs, PM me for an email address to send them to.
  • Logs can be found inside:
    • /cache/recovery
    • /tmp/XZDualRecovery
    • /storage/sdcard1/XZDualRecovery
    • /cache/XZDualRecovery (if the previous exists, this one will not!)
    NOTE: I need them ALL!
I really need them to troubleshoot what failed and what worked OK. Thank you!

It does not work, when rebooting the first time the screen will flash like ~10 times (I think it's trying to enter Recovery, but it seems there is a missing fle) but nothing will happen, and after ~10 times it will just boot normally. If I reboot again and I press the volume key the same thing will happen. I was so excited :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Let me know if you need help troubleshooting it.

My Bootloader is Locked. I am using .510 with SuperSU

Update 1: I have unlocked the bootloader and tested again, now it will not event flash the screen.

Update 2: I have attached the Recovery.log file, there seems to be a problem with a file that doesn't exist

Update 3: Back to Lock Bootloader

11:09:49: The recovery file does not exist, exitting with a visual warning!

Ok, I'll check the log!

Can anyone provide me the last_log from cache/dualrecovery folder?

I can confirm the device will boot fine into CWM Recovery. :good:

Nonetheless after ~40 sec idle in Recovery mode it will auto-reboot. :(

I just measured the time, it's exactly between 40 sec and 42 sec, then will auto-reboot. It doesn't matter what are you doing with the Recovery, it will always auto-reboot.

Attached is the log file:

Ok, now I need logs, from
- sdcard1/XZUDualrecocery

- cache/XZUdualrecovery

Or similar named folders :)

NICE. Thanks friend. Everything is ok. CWM works.

    Hello to all of you,

    I have some very sad news especially for Xperia Z1 and ZU users..

    But first I wanna give a lot of thanks to all of you for the great support and confidence in me throughout my development times here on XDA, I've met some wonderful people and learned a lot. I know people respect me and it's given me a great feeling of satisfaction.

    I have some really difficult issues/situation to deal with in real life now, I can't keep running away from it. I'm sorry to announce to the entire community I'll stop development right now.

    I don't know if and when I'll come back. I hope I can come back, but it all depends on my personal situation. Please don't sent me a lot of pm's about the issues. Thank you.

    Regards to all of you,

    Krabappel2548
