Edit: I dont want to turn NFC off!

Go to system / etc / customization / settings, there is a file call config.prop
edit config.prop, and put a # in front of ro.nfc.icon.enable=true OR remove the entire ro.nfc.icon.enable=true

this is a superb rom. Great battery life, grate ram management. One think i dont like. The sound. How can i change it back to stock? I am with version 3.0. Do i have to install version 2.1? If i will install 2.1, version 3 will be replaced?

Yes you've just to flash 2.1 version to fix it. This is what I've done too

I cant seem to be able to enter the boot screen where i load the rom etc what am i missing. i have version 1 of this rom. but its so long since last i forgot

its like i forgot how to reboot to recovery.

EDIT: it looks like its gone. when i turn of the phone and start it i dont get the led light telling me to click up/down volume to enter... that is strange. how do i get this back?

EDIT2: Seems like i get it working now. Problem for some reason i dont know i needed to flash back to standard, then root again. install 157 kernel again. then i installed the dualrecovery and that got it rebooting into the the recovery where i needed to be to install this rom

But now that i went from 1 to 3 i thought maybe that was a bug that now was gone. But no, it just randomly restarts. today it has done this 2 times. Yesterday it never did...

I had the same problem when i was on other roms too. I manage to overcome this matter by..
Using a stock rom and kernel, root it, install the recovery and there you go... A basic stock rooted rom which you can delete whatever app you don't use and install whatever mods and edit the build.prop to your own liking.

I can't thank you enough man, I mean really, I finally have an OEM app that's actually worth keeping and using. Some of the other OEM apps have limited use and functionality or are just bloatware.

I've searching for a decent app since I grabbed my 1st Xperia Z Ultra back in October 2013. I prefer using OEM apps over most others for the uniformity and matching theme settings etc.,. Everything I tried with the DL's from the other posts aren't/weren't working no matter what I tried.

If there's something I could ever do for you PLEASE let me know. I check for PM's a couple of times a day.
