Hi!

I have a problem with my PX3 steering wheel keys. Car: MB W203 with canbus decoder.
In this car buttons next/back on steering wheel are used for changing trip computer screens.
So now if I press next/back on steering wheel my songs are changing and screens on my trip computer too...
I would like to disable those buttons for radio. I do not need to change songs from my steering wheel - i prefer to change my trip screens.
Can I do this via MTC-Keys? and assign to next/back button = no action?
or is there a chance to edit somehow canbus profile in factory settings?
MtcdTools showe that those buttons are 278 and 276

Sorry for the real late reply. I had to much work over the years and was ill in between so all turns out to be stressy.
You can solved it by using the hal9k Mod for px3 units. With this custom rom you will be able to block the seeking and changing even you tab the swc buttons.
But much better is to buy a px6 Head Unit with 4gb RAM/64Gb ROM and installing the new hal9k Mod 4.0 Custom Rom. There you can modify the swc function much better, because in the new CR you can set single click and double or long click action for the steering wheel keys., e.g. singleclick = "*" and double/long click = seek up or down.
Mover over it has auto sleep, super fast reaction time a working speech control for steering bt telephon by mtcd dialer or google now also offline and many more features.
We have a S202 with px3 hal9k and a S203 with px5 and we are super sartisfied with them.
Search here hal9k mod 4.0
