[Xposed Mod] Bypass Exchange Security Policy for Nexus devices and other AOSP ROMs

Whoops... I guess when I updated to 4.4.4 I was reverted back to Dalvik. But still wondering if this mod will work on my Moto X.

By golly it works. In case any one else is curious I am using an AT&T Moto X on 4.4.4.

Sorry, late to reply, but yes, as long as you are using stock email app, it should work on all recent Android versions. One person has also sent me the changes to support an email app called Boxer but I haven't had time to put it into the app yet.

I installed this on a Samsung GS5 and I still get the device administrator notification (remote wipe, etc) should I be seeing that? I assumed the security restrictions were the less threatening pop-up that I got before the device admin warning. Just as an fyi, I can turn on fingerprint scanner for lock screen which I understand some people are not able to do with exchange security policy enabled.

Sorry for the rambling but just wanted to make sure it worked for me.

edit: I guess more importantly I don't have to have any security feature enabled on the lock screen. Sounds like a success to me, no?

Just recently upgraded to Venom 2.5.0 on my One M8 and I can't get past the policy check.

Removed my Exchange account
Installed Xposed via Venom Tweaks
Added "Bypass Exchange Security Policy" module
Rebooted
Added Exchange Account and accepted "require security restrictions"

Still not able to bypass because every time I try to check my mail it wants to Ecrypt my internal storage.

Will try it out after L public push to AOSP. Not sure though if gmail source is released. If not, then it might be difficult.

So I downloaded the new gmail/exchange apks and decompiled them. Looks like the existing mod should work with the new gmail exchange support as well. Can anyone try it and let me know if it is working?

No such luck... Tried it as system and data app.

That's strange. Unfortunately I've upgraded to L now so can't try on my own. Let me do some more digging on the weekend and provide a build to test.
