Are there any prerequisites like removing any exchange accounts or clearing the cache/data for the Email app?Hmmm ... i don't own a moto x. just try it!
Wow... I'm not usually this bad. I must have had selective reading when I looked at the first post. :silly:it's all in the first post ... i never used this mod. just watching this thread![]()
yes, it means it workedI installed this on a Samsung GS5 and I still get the device administrator notification (remote wipe, etc) should I be seeing that? I assumed the security restrictions were the less threatening pop-up that I got before the device admin warning. Just as an fyi, I can turn on fingerprint scanner for lock screen which I understand some people are not able to do with exchange security policy enabled.
Sorry for the rambling but just wanted to make sure it worked for me.
Thanks!
edit: I guess more importantly I don't have to have any security feature enabled on the lock screen. Sounds like a success to me, no?
Will try it out after L public push to AOSP. Not sure though if gmail source is released. If not, then it might be difficult.Any plans to add new Gmail 5 with Echange Support?

Thanks!

No such luck... Tried it as system and data app.So I downloaded the new gmail/exchange apks and decompiled them. Looks like the existing mod should work with the new gmail exchange support as well. Can anyone try it and let me know if it is working?
