I've had a problem since about v4.0 where the keyboard only tints on certain buttons, long holds, and some gesture typing for Google Keyboard. Mainly, none of the normal letters work. When using gesture typing, only it works only on the first key press and only after the first word. Characters with long holds work fine.

Any idea why this is? I don't think I have any other keyboard mods and using updated apps. HTC One M7, Sense 6, LP 5.0.2

Edit: 30s vid @ goo.gl/JmA0TR (don't ask why it says "Naughty ?")
I found the solution to this problem disabling popup on key press. Probably because the popup background covers the letter itself and does not display color on normal letters

Does this work with 5.1 or 5.1.1 with newest super alpha xposed? I tried lat night briefly and couldn't get it to work, have to try again. Also do I need a certain keyboard version?

I hope i do not offend asking if by any chance we could get the option to add the numbers row? literary it is the most ignored feature from both Google and the devs, the APK are not maintained after a few releases and google doesnt seem to care to give us the option to enable it.

We desperately need an AIO modifier for AOSP/Google Keyboard.

Mm, I don't understand. What do you mean for "AIO modifier"?

Would it be possible to add a setting to make the keyboard change themes at a set time? I.E. Material Light Theme during the day and switch to Material Dark Theme at 5:00 PM?

Any chance you could make this for SwiftKey. FlatStylekeyboard module already does it for google keyboard. I would buy it!

Maybe you could add a little fade out animation, so that when you release the keyboard the colour will remain and become transparent until it disappears.
I don't know if I have been clear with this explanation xD

Ahaha it would be great, but I think it is impossible...sorry

Do you know if this works with the flat style keyboard module installed?

Yeah, I just tried, it works :good:

Updating now, will let you know how it goes! Thanks :D

Edit: Working Awesome! UI is a little plain but I'm not complaining I love it! Very very functional! Took me a minute to realize how to remove colors.

Also, just so others know you will need to reboot or force close keyboard for changes to take effect. Working on aosp keyboard!

Thanks again so much, I love this

Edit#2: Would it be possible to make the keys light up when you swipe over them? Just curious

Thank you, it's exciting to see this type of comment for a joung programmer like me.
I don't know, I will try to add this feature...

    Thank you for your comment:D
