Good deal, thanks! It was most likely a conflict with something else I had running that lead me to that conclusion.Net Speed Indicator is working fine for me.
Which "background" stuff in your mind was the most important to disable? Why custom ROM? Simply flash stock 5.1.1. Then root. Then debloat/disable all unnecessary background stuff (which is MUCH!). Then customize with Xposed.
Voilà, you'll have a perfectly fine device with good battery life.
Do you mean a specific module or the Xposed framework for Touchwiz Lollipop itself? If the first, read up in this post or test and report back yourself. Xposed for Touchwiz can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960hi,
i have an S2 rooted (just rooted, not deoxed or so).
did a xposed module work?
if yes, can you provide me the link and version. because i'm not sure which to use.
thanks

hello, thanks!
but i mean the xposed itself to flash. because i installed the app, but i need the "flash part".
and my S2 is only rooted (not deoxed or so) based on 5.02.
can you point me if it works with root only and which package (i assume/read it need to be sdk21?) is the correct one for 5.02.
thank you!

When you say you removed/disabled unnecessary background stuff, what stuff were you referring to?Why custom ROM? Simply flash stock 5.1.1. Then root. Then debloat/disable all unnecessary background stuff (which is MUCH!). Then customize with Xposed.

Why the 32 bit and not the 64 bit version @halloarno ?Arm-sdk22
Some ppl say that it might get unstable and the tab is not liking a lot of mods, so don't install a lot and then reboot, try installing one by one. 32 bit because tab s2 cpu is 32 bit like note 4.Why the 32 bit and not the 64 bit version @halloarno ?
Was considering trying this on a T817T; unless I'm missing something from this thread that would prevent xposed from working on this device (?).
Thanks for the reply @mk89pwnz ! I was confused then by my research on this device; most of what I read described an octa-core exynos 32/64 bit...Samsung went 32bit OS then on the Tab S2 though they could have gone 64bit (maybe no real benefit). Some ppl say that it might get unstable and the tab is not liking a lot of mods, so don't install a lot and then reboot, try installing one by one. 32 bit because tab s2 cpu is 32 bit like note 4.
