Yes works, only partially apps seem to not be able to use it... Tried to hide Xposed from a banking app, only that doesn't work, regulary everything is working... So...
I've got... DQD7, S7 NOUGAT...

I've activated a pro mod that doesn't f**- around. I've bought the pro a while ago and, well, nothing... Then I've been thinking of a mod, searched the net just for fun and it works... Wtf...

Technical:

Device: Xperia Z5 - Nougat 7.1.1 Stock Odexed (32.4.A.0.160) (
Kernel: Stock with dm-verity off, Sony RIC off
Magisk 13.3
Xposed Installer by DVD Android 26_07_2017
Framework 26-07-17-xposed-v87-sdk25

At first my xposed was installed and active but not working at all - i tested it with Flat Style Bars Indicators module.
I checked my logs and saw a read/write error. Looked like a permission mess up to me (i'm not a dev, so... :silly: )
This is what i did to make it work:

Using Root Explorer go to /data/data/ and find de.robv.android.xposed.installer folder
set folder permissions to rwxr-r--x (Octal 0751) and reboot.

If xposed is not working for you try the above method, it worked like a charm for me. Not a single FC or Random Reboot here.

Hey there, I found a quick way to disable Xposed without uninstall it and pass safetynet test

Root Switch app enable/disable Xposed and performs a soft reboot



Disable Xposed from the installer doesn't work to pass safetynet

@daw41 Many thanks for feedback, but even I tried to change permissin for the mentioned folder, but it is not available in /data/data/

in case of someone having this error

BUG - unzip error during recovery installation
the recovery couldn't unzip the files
tried to manually run the script and the error was on the unzip line
unzip: zip flags 1 and 8 are not supported

SOLUTION
extracted everything to my desktop and re-zipped with 7zip

No ... magisk is not installed or never been installed .... also to mention it is stock ROM, rooted, not a custom ROM

on mine I checked "also set on all sub-folders and files" option either
