I've had my XT1039 for over a couple of years and have always gotten 2-4 days between charges with light use (no social media).
As of a couple of days ago the battery drains to 0 overnight after being charged in the morning. It would normally be about 50-70% on waking up.
There's a reddit thread I found where someone has this problem - they say that at 50% battery it then quickly drains to 0. An obvious fix would be to replace the battery, but the redditor says that they did this and still had the same problem.
I've also read somewhere that there are known issues with the USB charging circuitry - if this is likely the answer should I just get a new phone instead of shelling out for a replacement battery and special screwdriver (T5 I think)?
