I have a XT1060 with Bootloader unlocked via Sunshine. I have flashed all kinds of ROM on this thing in the past and finally it has the standard VZW 4.4.4 image on it with factory reset. A friend of mine lost his phone and I gave him this phone to use as a temp replacement and he reported it only shows 3G with a new Verizon sim.
I have a VZW Dev edition XT1060 also as a daily driver, so I took my sim card out of my phone and put that into the backup device and sure enough, it always shows 3G and Mobile Network Type as CDMA -eHRPD and my regular phone always shows LTE with the same sim card. I also checked that they both are showing System Build Number as KXA21.12-L1.26.1
Is there a way to fix the old phone, i.e., reset the internal radio or something so that it gets LTE?
