Hi, I have been a lurker for a bit of a while now and decided to create an account to see if any of you could help me out with certain specifics with my problem after I completely hard bricked my phone, you would think it is completely unrecoverable if you were to see it at first glance if it wasn't for the fact that it can connect to my PC, the only hope I have right now. So onto my problem: I managed to soft brick it at first by flashing a patched magisk boot.img, which I think was the root of the problem because I'm sure I didn't use a boot.img that was compatible with my phone, I'm not very tech savvy with phones so this was my first time doing anything of the type, then, I used fastboot and SPFlash Tools to format my phone completely, that was how I hard bricked it, after it turned off, it simply wouldn't turn back on.
After looking just this entire week for any solution, I found a blank flash that was compatible with my phone and that might be the only hope of salvation I have right now. My phone keeps reconnecting to the computer but I figured out a way to make the connection stable using SPFlash Tools (I just plug the phone in, press download and the phone doesn't disconnect as it used to), it shows up as "MediaTek USB Port (COM5)". I'd love to try using blankflash to give the life back to this phone, however, any time I try to use fastboot or the blank-flash file, it gets stuck on "<waiting for device>". Could any of you guide me through this like the newbie I am? I don't have the conditions to buy a new phone nor do I want to right now. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
