If I remember correctly, "XT1970-3_KANE_DS_10_QSA30.62-30" is reteu March patch.
Good again,
I believe you, but the numbering change is a bit strange, isn't it? "QSA30.62-30" is after "QSAS30.62-24-6".

Another topic in case it has passed you, have you read this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=82355689 and this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=82382071?

Do you know of a possible solution?

My phone is RETEU build, can I flash this via internal memory update method or only via fastboot one? Thanks!!
As I said , I just flashed this update on 1970-3 (RETEU) and it's OK . I know for sure because also I've done it , RETEU variant works as well on RETAIL (and vice-versa) . This is the only update (till now) with April security patch . Thanks to tys0n !!!
Internal memory method , I tried and I can't update because from Recovery , phone doesn't see internal update file . Don't try it anymore due a fast and reliable method and that's by fastboot . The April patch update is : KANE_QSAS30.62-24-6_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip

Thanks for the info. What about warranty, my phone's bootloader is locked and in warranty. Can I flash with locked bootloader? Do I loose the phone's warranty? Thanks!

Yes , no problems at all , you can flash firmwares with locked bootloader . Warranty doesn't have anything since bootloader is locked (phone is in genuine state) . Mine is also the same , locked , unrooted , original recovery etc . Last several updates I just flashed as soon they arrived by fastboot cmds . Follow "tys0n" tips and firmware finded on first page .

Hello mate, it keeps giving me some errors about img files and can't flash the update. Could you please write a tutorial step by step how to flash it? I can't see any detailed instructions on first page.
Thanks in advance!!

Follow "tys0n" instructions and keep going step by step . Maybe you're doing something wrong , maybe your system (windows) , antivirus , motorola drivers , adb pack or else aren't in a proper mode to complete flashing , maybe your phone isn't in "developer mode" . There are a lot of things to prepare before flashing firmware . Do you want more ? In that case we could spend some time to acomplish it . lot of time ....

Hello, thanks for your big effort to upload all these files. I would like to ask, what is the difference between the file KANE_RETEU_QSA30.62-33_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip and the one with version as QSAS30.62-24-7 at the same region (RETEU)? The first one has a numeric upper version 30.62-33 than the other, so what is the difference? Thanks!!!!!

No idea what differs. I haven't tried 30.62-33. QSAS30.62-24-7 came out a few days earlier so that's what I used to update.
QSAS30.62-24-7 is April patch and QSA30.62-33 is May
They're both May patch.

I believe that the 62-33 brings new functions, that's what I've seen in other forums, now you can watch 21:9 content on apps like Netflix, play games in that format (apparently) and it brings a "Smart Update" function... I'm on QSAS30.62-28-3 (OPENMX channel) so I don't have the new functions... I hope I can get them on the next OTA update

Good afternoon,
A curiosity: if I want to manually update to the latest firmware, do I have to flash all the firmwares one by one and in order, or do I just have to flash the latest one?

Regards

I never had a problem with update firmware for example Android 9 to Android 10 patch February, the phone works well, but i needed a factory reset because was a change for Android version, but is a update patch to patch like a February to June for example, you don't need factory reset. I mean theres not a problem with data.
