New version QSAS30.62-33-1, could someone upload it, please? Previously, I have updated from QSAS30.62-24-7 to QSA30.62-33 but unfortunately this wasn't my phone's original firmware and OTA updates have been stopped. Especially, my phone notifys me that there is the update QSAS30.62-33-1 but the update procedure stops. So, I would like to have the above specific firmaware file, in order to flash my phone manually to it. Unless, I could flash the previous firmware QSAS30.62-24-7 from this state, could I ? I am afraid that I will brick my phone, what do you think about it? Thanks!!!!!

I have downgraded twice without any errors, even from Android 10 to 9, but it's definitely not recommended.

Hi, yesterday my phone was notified for a new version QSAS30.62-33-2 but couldn't update via OTA and stopped the precedure. My phone is on RETEU channel locked unrooted in original state and some time ago I flashed it manually to QSA30.62-33 RETEU just to try it out. Then I flashed it again to QSAS30.62-33-1 to go back to original state, but unfortunatelly I have noticed that it can't update via OTA. Any suggestions to solve the OTA update problem, please? Thanks!!

Received today some minutes ago QSA30.62-28-6 Jul 1 Security Patches for OPENMX channel. Used to be on ATTMX channel but changed due to ATT warranty as they sent my phone to Motorola and got it back unlocked for other carriers. Same IMEI too.

I just bought a second hand XT1970-3 single sim from ama**n UK. I tried to update it but it is stuck with android 9 security patch May.
Software channel is "VFEU", searching on the web it seems to be linked to Vodafone. And I also guess this is reason why I don't receive any other update.

So my questions are:
1. I was thinking to flash a RETEU or RETAIL android 10 firmware, is it a problem do that from a VFEU phone?
2. if I flash my phone with the method at the beginning of this thread, will I be able to receive OTA updates or I have to flash my phone every time?

Flash one of those 2 , nothing could be wrong , both are for EU . Regarding second question I flashed many updates but last 2 updates (June & July) I received them by OTA . So nothing to worry ...

Hi Muppetz, I have just flashed Android 10 with the last update (July) and everything went well (I had flash the rom twice because the first time there was a image verification error problem).
The only thing I don't understand is why even if I have flashed a RETGB ( it seems the same as RETEU) firmware, software channel is still VFEU.
Just one question: if I will not receive OTA updates in the future, flashing the updates with this method will erase my app and data on the phone?

Yes, reteu and retgb use the same builds afaik, and it's also true that flashing firmware from different region / carrier won't change your update channel.
I'm not sure about recieving ota. I guess it depends on if that perticular region / carrier uses the same firmware version as the one you have installed. Updates are incremental and won't update if the expected build doesn't match.
And as answer for your question, no, you don't have to reset for updates.
I've been rooted for long so I can't take OTA, and I've never had problems updating without reset between builds.

Absolutely NOT . Any new firmware updates flashes won't erase a thing (apps & data) ! Like I said I received OTA despite several flashes before . Like you I'm different channel (RETEU) and I flashed RETAIL , RETEU and even RETBR . RETEU always remain . All these are for XT1970-3 . My phone is in an original state , no root , no TWRP , it is untouched .
