XT860 sliding Lockscreen shyness

I have a XT860 from Bell and since yesterday when I unlock the phone with the upper button the screen open and I see the lock-screen less than one second and it switch automatically to the home screen.

The sliding lock-screen works only when I set a lock, (pattern, pin, password)

My phone is rooted, and I uninstalled some apps with Titanium Backup but nothing significant...

I want it to work as it use to do, but there is no option like I used to see in CM7 to mess with the lock-screen timeout or whatever it is...

I would do a factory reset.

Yeah this might help but I want to figure out why this happen..

The lock-screen works well when there is a lock pattern after it.
But I don't want it.

And without is not fun when the upper button is pressed by inadvertence.
