You will need the correct file and use rsd lite or you may be able to use house of moto. Cannot downgrade your have to use most current software version .

K... what? xt912 and xt910 are two different phones though they are both called razr.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2690277

If you have the xt912, you can only flash, and use, xt912 utilities and firmware. If it is a xt910, same thing, only xt910 utilities and firmware.

as SK8 mentioned, you cannot downgrade from JB back to ICS.

If you truly have a xt912, then you need to use a xt912 firmware to reflash your phone in RSD and that is your problem.

This is Mattlgroff's utility for xt912 JB (be sure to hit his thanks)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192467
This utility should have pretty much anything you need for a xt912 from flashing back to to stock firmware, to rerooting. Just read his instructions thoroughly, and again, thank him.

This is any xt910 firmware you might have depending on region.

you have a known working Fastboot cable (aka programming or factory cable) ?
not a stock usb cable.
if you're not sure see fastboot cable in
Moto Drivers, Firmware, RSD Lite, and other Unbricking Tools
