Problem is the attempt to downgrade TZ/PARTITION. Check this thread out, last 10 or so pages:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2760840

The work around is to comment out the TZ/PARTITION in the 4.1.2 SBF XML (only VZW has 4.4.2 SBF) to get past that point. Should allow you to boot into the OS assuming all goes well (I've never had to use mfastboot on my XT925) and from there you can take the OTA.

You should flash a SBF for your region. You run the risk of all kinds of radio related issues and who knows what else.

Yes, I just read a thread with a guy having a similar problem. My Spanish isn't that great but it's in this forum, similar title. There is an English explanation near the end of that thread.

I've seen a few posts with people having similar issues, good news is, seems most of them managed to recover their phone. You'll have to do some digging here in this forum and the Razr HD General forum.

Other than that, you'll need to manually flash (via fastboot) the corrected partitions. Seems you've done a lot of flashing on this device so you might have to try a few things before it gets it right.

OK, I re-read this thread again and it was the one I referenced the Spanish conversation in. What @hbenz2008 is referring to is:

- Find the 4.4.2 OTA for your region (or that matches the 4.1.2 you originally flashed before taking the OTA)
- extract contents of OTA zip file

In there you'll see a "tz" and a "gpt" and/or "partition" file (as memory serves), flash these files with fastboot (or mfastboot) from fastboot console:

fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash gpt gpt.bin

Don't just blindly do this yet.

@hbenz2008, does this look right to you? I'm going on memory, 1 cup of coffee and looking through my JB+4.4.2 OTA XML files.

EDIT: I followed your link above, looks like it's the right files but not 100% sure if my fastboot args are correct.

Yeah, what @hbenz2008 said.. you need the tz+gpt from the original 4.4.2 OTA you installed. If you're trying to install a different carrier/region version of this file, I don't think you'll get far (as mentioned)

i've responded, i sent him up links to my backed up telcel stock jellybean the latest one (good i did since sbf droid is down) the pr 4,.1.2 also (same version 9.8.2.Q)
and the kk ota from PR just in case.
he tells me he has his bootloader locked, so i don't know if he'll be able to flash from another carrier.....

still bricked

I'm still bricked. Even the folks at a motorola reseller could't find out how to unbrick. Suggested me to change the motherboard.

Anyway, Anybody has the link for the CEE 4.4.2 (or 4.4.3) OTA, so I can try to manually flash the partitions?

Thanks a bunch

I posted gpt and tz from fido ota? Check my recent posts.
I will look...

---------- Post added at 06:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:56 PM ----------

To unbrick you need gpt and tz from rtfr 4.4.2 ota.
Very small files, anyone can upload. If not, I will when I am on pc.
