Hi guys,

i've a strange issue with my XT925 and i think i softbricked it.
The phone wont be recognized through USB, wether in Fastboot Mode or in normal state.
I've a working CM11 on it, latest nightly.
So it isn't work in fastboot mode, i'm not able to flash a stock ROM and lock the bootloader.
Is it possible to flash a new boot or kernel over recovery? Or a flashable Stock ROM?
I tried different PCs, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 - 8.1.
Thanks for your help, i'm not a flashing noob ;)

I would wait for the next philz due out any moment.

You could use recovery tools to flash the img from your homescreen.
Thanks mate, but yesterday i've flashed a working CM10 on it and did a /system format too and all the same.
I cannot flash a new recovery image because the phone isn't recognized through Windows.
No DING DONG or any entry in the windows device manager when plugging in.

You can flash recovery from your current recovery, Rom Manager- Q recovery, recovery tools will load the img from phone up.
I have posted HD philz flashables in the general twrp thread.

Do you think its a recovery problem? I don't want to cut the last rope to use my phone ;) if something fails, it's completely bricked.
Maybe flash a new kernel or boot.img where the USB drivers are located?

You sure your cable is good?
Yes, tried two original Moto, one Sony, some no name and my factory cable.

Your not alone I have the same issue. But I managed to get my phone flashed with stock firmware. I then couldn't get root so I flashed the latest slim kat in recovery and fired her up. I still can't connect to my computer either although I can still use the phone. I think it has to do with the flashing of one of the other .img's. Usually ROMs only flash the system IMG and maybe data and cache but maybe the new KitKat had to flash a modified non-hlos IMG and that could also be why our cell radios are screwy on cm11. I'm not new to this and I'm almost sure that's where the problem is.

OK guys,

new news.
I've flashed a CM10-20130220 on it.
Boot it up. Nothing happend.
Now, i booted into fastboot mode. Did it hard by pressing Power + Vol. Plugged it in and "ding dong".
Immediately started RSD and flashed back stock.
Until now, everything works. it gets power over USB.
But i've the old problem (since first stock - buying): cannot copy files.

hope it helps.
thanks.
