Xtrons TD696A locking out if left off for an hour +

I removed the SD card from GPS slot and put another one back in it's place, from then it would not turn on.
The only way to restart it, is to unplug the unit, time differs for the plug to be out before it will boot up again to main OS,but when it does not boot, i can still reset and power to get into recovery.but if i load new image from there and reboot goes back to dead. Unplug again and will boot and run as normal until you turn off for some time then back to beginning again.
Any ideas as baffled, even got firmware from xtrons to upload fresh copy to the unit, still the same out come.
may be time to send back if i get no luk

Hi,
Have you tried entering factory mode on successful boot, reviewing and then saving?

Also would you please post official firmware as would be beneficial to myself and others. What version is this - found in about machine?

yeah done that. no joy still doing the same but have noticed now, that when in recovery mode that android is on his back with a red triangle on top, so to me looks like MCU mite be corupted so looking to reflash when i can get a match (MTCB-HZC-V2.69) or something that will go in.
as for the firmware image as soon as i get 10 post's ill up it for all to use...
