XZ1 Dropped in sea water

Hi, i recently dropped my xz1 in sea water by accident. my phone has also changed a screen which doesnt have the waterproof seal anymore. I dropped it and after that i tried to restart the phone and it booted into safe mode and now I cant exit safe mode to see if my phone still works or not. My power button has also turned into a volume button and volume button no longer works. Does this mean my phone is officially broken? If anyone has any similar experience or solutions please feel free to comment. Thanks!

Drop it in a bag full of rice bro for 3-7 days without opening the bag!! Then try again every thing if it works
