Please lock this down... Its pointless...and mostly helpless... Nobody seems to use the yahoo video plugin.
And nobody is replying .
It has never worked on nexus s . on gb,ics , ever.
This thread seems like my notepad :))).. So please close it or reply somewhat .

I believe the Nexus devices are not compatible with the Yahoo Messenger Plugin. Unfortunately, it's a sad result of poor management of the apps available on Google Play Store.
The reality is, Google doesn't care about the quality of the apps and probably never will, therefore developers can do whatever they like with their apps (In this case Yahoo).
It's sad that you need to get rid of a good device, like Nexus 7, just because you want to be able to use Yahoo Messenger, which is what I ended up doing. :)
Oh and by the way, the Ipads/Iphones are the only mobile devices where Yahoo Messenger Plugin actually works and works well.
I've had various different Android devices over the last couple of years (Toshiba Thrive 7", Hyundai A7HD, Nexus 7, Motorola RAZR) and they all suffer from issues with Yahoo Messenger Plugin.
Bottom line, you need Yahoo Messenger, get rid of Android! :)
