care to explain the steps ?

pretty sure I covered about everything
Sure. After obtaining the key through proper application of pocket change, transferring said change to the folks at HCUclient.com, I downloaded a free FRP unlock tool. After following the instructions, the tool failed. I found another, and it failed. I tried one more, all the while asking the XDA community to give me the answer to the riddle. Finally, upon using the third tool and failing, I spammed the Unlock FRP button several times, and was rewarded with bright green text declaring the FRP lock to be undone. In all due haste, I hurriedly rebooted to the bootloader. I was, of course, properly devastated to discover those dreaded green-hued words: FRP Lock.
So, after several minutes of cursing, two beers, and various sundries designed to elevate one's mood, I decided I'd try installing Magisk anyway. Having heard that it was possible without Fastboot, I found the APK in the forums, installed, masked it, passed the SafetyNet, and shouted in triumph, no doubt earning the scorn of my neighbors, as all signs pointed to root. Of course, I then rebooted and ran every ROOT checker I had and congratulated myself as they declared my victory, each and every one. Oh, I forgot to meantion that I tried several FRP key-finding programs before the HCU client worked. Best $17 I've spent in a while.
