It's so sad when you got no opertunity to thank the people who spent all those hours making this happened for me while I was out enjoying the sunshine.

phone is not charging while its off. tying to figure out how to charge it as i don't have any other way of charging the battery.
Several people are reporting this issue. The solution for now seems to be to flash stock recovery. There's a thread in the general section on how to do this.

I am having issues now with charging a completely dead battery, I can't boot the phone and it won't charge in recovery. I am SOL. The orange charge light comes on for two seconds and then starts flashing orange or turns off completely. Multiple tries to charge doesn't make a difference. My battery is at 3.1v right now, so I am going to try charging it with a different phone (Nexus) and getting the voltage up to 3.7. What ever you do, don't run your battery completely dead. Clockwork Recovery mod- v4.0.1.4 has worked fine until this point.

Update: I spent the afternoon running around to sprint stores to find an evo battery with enough charge to flash my recovery back. Fun way to spend the day. Attached is a ZIPPED version of the orig recovery IMG and a PG58IMG.ZIP you can place on the root of your SD and HBOOT. As always, you are flashing at your own risk but it worked for me.

I did as per your post... but now, when my mobile is completely switched OFF, and then i plug the charger IN... the Orange light glows for a second, then it is OFF again, and after a second it Turns ON continuously...
is it normal or a glitch????

I was experiencing the same battery problem, but it was fine after I used adb reboot command per the FAQ instructions.

I installed the Eng-Hboot is 1.17.2008
But I discovered that the Revolutionary S-OFF do the same.

So I try again S-Off, to restore hboot.

But, revolutionary.exe:
"Your device is not supported at this time."

Because my hboot is 1.17.2008!

How can I restore the revolutionary hboot?

Just a suggestion, instead of turning the phone off just put it into airplane mode until there is a fix for the charging when off.

Problems with Revolutionary

I have been trying to upgrade my Sensation using Revolutionary but it keeps rebooting into Fastboot and then times out and says to exit the program. Am I missing something in the instructions? I have put the phone onto the home screen, activated the USB logging, plugged into my Windows computer, installed the drivers HTCDriver3.0.0.007. The Revolutionary app recognizes the phone, HTC Sensation Z710e (Pyramid-1.17.1011, Android: 2.3.3. Rom Version 1.35.707.1. I plug in the beta key and it sits there until it reboots into the Bootloader and says waiting for Fastboot, the phone reboots and the program exits. Anyone have any suggestions???

Uncheck Fastboot option in Settings > Power.

Sensation Root using Revolutionary

I have tried unchecking FASTBOOT. Now the program tells me that my phone is not supported. Why do you think that is happening?? I have version 1011.
