Yoga tab 3 pro 32gb projector not working

Hi guys, so I an in an interesting predicament. I ordered a used tab 3 pro off eBay as I have been wanting to give this tablet a try and it was a good price. I bought it and upon receiving it, I realized the projector didn't turn on. I tried factory resetting it, updating to Android 6.0.1 and then resetting again. No matter what I try, I cannot seem to get the projector to turn on. Has anyone experienced this? Unfortunately eBay denied my request to return and then unit does not have a warranty through Lenovo. Any help is appreciated to get this working. Thanks!!
