Btw, I love the screen protector so I won't remove it. Although XZ come with dragontrail class, there's some broken screen XZ. For some example, my friend use a small stick to lift the glass on in the micro with a very light force , the front glass crashed

The position below is very weak. Both the position of microphone and front speaker

Really don't know. He said his microphone is dirty with tiny sand so he used a small toothpick to pull them out. But carelessly, he lifted the screen on with a very light foce, the screen crashed

So I recommend we should not pull anything like toothpick to the microphone and front speaker. It looks like Achilles' heel, the deadly weakness of dragontrail glass in XZ

So why did many people report that their glass shell broke even though they barely did anything with the phone?

You are the guy who is droping a 600€ device in boiling soup pot, now your friend is crashing the glass. What the hell is goin on, if ur that rich or should I say spoiled u should not post it. It's discusting, better u donate the money to some poor people. I'm not Jesus or a hippie I just don't understand it! Since the crisis started in 2008 the world has never been the same, countries need to be saved from bankruptcy.
From Jan 1st 2014 all governments will ban money, some people already got the word so they are spending all their money to buy good.
The rich people will be the farmers with most pets. You will only be able to trade cows etc to buy houses/cars you name it.

That was my friend's carelessness. I just want to recommend that we should do nothing around the microphone and front speaker or we'll get the screen crashed. As I said, it looks like Achilles' Heel.

SONY used dragon trail for Z, but it's easily to get crack when you use your nail and try to lift up the screen.

The purpose of SONY when they use dragon-trail and gorilla for Z is to make the phone look beautiful and luxury and avoid Z from small damages.

Nor-matter how Screen Protector still need here due to it easier scratch Shattered proof sheet unless you plan to remove it.

Well I had my first test of the Zs durability last Thursday. I was running up the stairs leading up to Wembley Park station and the phone flew out of my pocket and rolled down a few of the steps. We're talking hard concrete steps here. As I walked to pick it up, I was almost certain I'd smashed something. It fished up face down so I could immediately see the back wasn't cracked. Picked it up and much to my pleasant shock, neither was the front. It only had a couple of of scratches on the metallic frame.
My S wouldn't have faired so well.
Maybe it's good when the force of impact is spread across a wide surface area but not so much when the contact is local or at a fixed point. Who knows

Mine fell on ceramic tile on a corner and the glass was fine the exoskeleton took the hit! BTW i don't a case! Though i do use a wrist strap lol.
I don't know why Sony put a dip where the microphone is they could have made it flush....
