I know and familiar with rooting, I've done that with my Droid and Galaxy S.

This is a curious question for Xoom owners who have rooted their Xoom. What do you do to it?

Overclock? Do you really need the speed?

Tethering? But limited to the data plan bandwidth?

Custom Rom?

I, personally, don't have a need to root just yet. I'm just enjoying the stock Wi-Fi Xoom.

Btw, you don't need to root to tether to your phone. I have a rooted EVO and it tethers just fine (and fairly fast).

what about playing with the system files? Change the bootscreen, change the default sound, playing with the density, change the button definition file, screw up some parameters, change some apps in the system/app directory, play with the notification flash drivers.... ahhhh I should stop now, too... many. ... things ..... come to my mind. Getting a headache LoL

I enjoy just messing around with features/settings we aren't meant to have access to. Tonight I spent a lot of time messing around with the music player after enabling streaming in Music2.odex:

(The features don't actually work and neither does the music store)
