Looking for an app called "Pocket Operator". It's free but restricted to Pixel 5 and later. Tried to manually install the APK, but it won't launch.

I've tried various sources to download, I'm struggling to get the app to install I keep parsing error.

As the app is built for pixel 5 or above there is probably some hardware it's looking for and can't find hence the problem you face with it opening.

Thanks for looking into it! I don't know which piece of hardware would be necessary. I think the restriction is artificial and for marketing reasons.

Don`t know where to ask so I will try here

I usually like to updates my apps manually. I disable automatic download in the Play Store settings, but eventualy about after one month the Play Store reset itself (kinda) and I see that some apps that I`d like to keep at certain version are updated to the latest version. I even tried to leave the auto update, but disabled auto update for just some apps and still the same issue persist.

I am using custom rom Pixel Experience for my Poco F3, but this on MIUI too. What is the cause of this? Any fix?

Would try the forum for phone or ROM.

If you have disabled auto update because of play store has updated it self I can't think what else to do.

A little OT. But if you are rooted, then you can detach your selected apps from the playstore. One way is to use TeMeFI. Another is to use newer magisk features and also there is an exposed Module.
