Youtube 1080p!

hey guys, before i was seeing alot of noise with youtube, well come to find out it was on 720p even with HD click. I found a developer who create this to make true 1080p on our device!

its so freaking awesome. I take back what I said about BE2 having too much contrast and over sharpen video...it truly shine in 1080p, 720p is not so great.

Great but this requires root. I dont want to root yet as i got XZ yesterday only so want to enjoy stock only for the time being.
Any way to get 1080p working without root?

Flash your phone with a unbranded ftf file and then YouTube is no longer a system app. You can uninstall it

Even if it's a system app, it must be updatable.... How else would you get updates for it?

EDIT: Nevermind, because it's modified I guess it doesn't have the same package signature, maybe even a different package name if he modified it.
