Youtube ads (Firefox)

I have a rooted FireTV (Gen 1) with adblocking on the hosts file. This used to block all ads when using Youtube, but not anymore. Are there any other options that block ads?

On every other Android version of Firefox I can install uBlock Origin and it removes all ads including YouTube. Firefox for the FireTV doesn't allow addons.
