How to enable YouTube Picture in Picture mode?

If you use official Youtube applicaiton you have to be a YOUTUBE RED subscriber . Being in India i cannot be youtube red subscriber . So i use Youtube Vanced .

I use Youtube Vanced too. Is there a chance to hide youtube from playstore updates? I deselected auto updates on the youtube app, but it pops up as updateble in my apps from playstore so I have to update every app except youtube and can't select update all.

When you install YouTube Vanced via Magisk it's supposed to fix that but it's never worked for me and I haven't found any other way to do it either. E.g. "Detach from market" in Titanium Backup doesn't work.

I have PiP only with youtube vanced, the pip in "standard" version doesn't work in op3, op5 and op6

I think you need Youtube RED subscription for PIP and this is not available in europe at the monent.

I'd like to know one more thing without creating another thread and that is to how to turn the settings on for double tap lockscreen to open camera. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Am I mising something here?

It works right out of the box for me, just open a YouTube video and hit the home button. A mini player shows up and can be moved anywhere on the screen.

Didn't do anything special. I thought it was part of 8.1. funny thing is it doesn't work on my Pixel 2XL with P.

Here it is in action. Is it possible YouTube doesn't have permission to draw of apps in special permissions?

Did you try this? Quote from Magisk module description:

Detach/Attach app from Playstore: Due to multiple reported issues for some users (eg. apps auto update broken) and since update from 10.04.18 detaching is by default disabled. If u want to enable it u have to put a file (can be empty) called "enable_detach" into your /cache directory and reboot the phone. 60 seconds after reboot the app gets detached from playstore. If u want to disable detaching again put a file called "disable_detach" (can be empty) into /cache directory and reboot the phone like with detaching 60 seconds after reboot it gets attached to playstore again. WARNING: Due to the hacky nature of this method there might come up unexpected issues with the playstore and its functions. So be warned and enable it at your own risk

Work as expected for me on OP5 and OP6.

All you have to do is go into Magisk and settings>downloads and then scroll almost to the bottom and you will see Vanced and Vanced dark and just install the module. No guessing which one to install from the Vanced repository.
