YouTube says no connection when on wifi

Once in awhile I keep getting the no connection thing when on YouTube. Never does it on 4g but only on Wi-Fi. I have to either turn off then on Wi-Fi on my phone or restart my phone. Getting very frustrating. I can browse the content and everything loads but when I goto play the content it just flashes that no connection message. I have noticed it gets worse if the phone is in power saving state. Already put the option to keep the app awake and not limit the background internet. Not sure what to do
