This looks great. My girlfriend is currently stuck on CM12 and her phone acts a little bit wierd so thought it was time for an update.

Just to be completely sure about everything, before updating to CM12.1 (this version), I have a few questions some people might be able to answer:
  • Does this flash like a regular ROM installation?
  • Will I need to boot the phone before doing the F2FS conversion?
  • Do I flash GAPPS directly after flashing the ROM?
  • Does this require SuperSU or does it have the CM12.1 Build in Root Manager?
  • And that's it for now..

Best of regards and thanks in advance.

Yet you were efficient. Camera and google maps are working, even with highest precision. :good:
Thanks a lot!

The last issue I noticed, is that sometimes gsm doesn't reconnect automatically, but maybe that's already known. Someone wrote it may be related with ril or something.

health problems did not allow me to be very active lately though.

new build is online, give it a try and see if the gps problems some of you have been having are gone.
Take good care of yourself, and thank you very much for all these effort!

I can confirm GPS is working in high precision mode with and without wifi. Had to recalibrate the compass as it was going nuts are first but that is working now as well. Thanks for your huge effort!

and another build up. thanks to the people who donated! those signs of respect for our work are really wonderful. check the hall of fame in my signature :)

please check your auto brightness stuff... this one should improve that
Everything works perfect ;D one thing you could look up is colour led notifications. And I've niticed that reboot to recovery does not work for me. It reboots the device fine but after that it stays on black screen without even sony logo.

Testing your new build, will get back to you if any bugs are found.

Reboot to recovery is working here. May be try to reinstall recovery.
LED notification color and per app configuration would be great though.

youre right - and it is low hanging fruit.

so there is a new build yet again... please do check everything carefully, and report any mishaps (thats only valid for people using vanilla installs) ;)

With todays build Im getting reboots again, this time as soon as precise location is enabled, no matter if on wifi or 3G. Heres a log without wifi.

EDIT: I returned to yesterdays build and get the same behaviour as with todays build...reboot as soon as gps is used.

I get the same behavior since the lollipop update (21th July) build. But unlike the reboots before the phone does not reboot correctly. Mobile data was not working and the operator name changed to 'carrier - provider' instead only 'provider'.
Also another thing I noticed about the mobile network: Usually I've H(SPA)-network all over the house but since the update I often get 3G only I'm not sure if this is some kind of energy-saving or whatever as I've not noticed/tested drawbacks with 3G shown.
And one more thing: I only get a green bar, indicating very good signal in battery history. Before this build I got all the colors.

Will flash todays build this evening and try to log.

Best

This newest nightly 7/22 is great, no reboots. With install in twrp( wiped data/system/dalvik/cache), i 've lost twrp, now i'm on CM recovery. If i flash twrp via fastboot i'll get probably in bootloop, right?

ok, back on 0720 build the problem is gone again, strange thing I didnt have the issue yesterday, though I cant even recall when I flashed. Could be just before going to sleep...
@Imotep95: Flash with twrp manager worked for me without bootloops...Also theres a setting in developer options that determines if recovery gets flashed with the rom or stays the same.

Ya, you ll get messed up with the ROM as CM Recovery is the base. Just give it a try but according to me you may have stability issues. make sure you have a backup

I don't have any major problems with the latest build. No random reboots, no GPS-issues nor problems with latest TWRP or anything else concerning my daily usage.
Good job, thank you @qsnc!
