i repeat: please try a clean install, cyanogenmod gapps only, NOTHING else from the play store. see if it fixes the problem. i really do not care where the apps come from, i want to find out if they are the reason or not.

also, if the download would be incomplete, your recovery would not allow you to install it. it verifies the sig.

i say it again: all bug reports where people are using non-cyanogenmod recovery, non-cyanogenmod gapps, or xposed & co will be ignored in the future.
Downloading and going to try the new build, thanks you so much!

@qsnc thanks a lot for your work. Camera write to sdcard wasn't working for me on 6th Aug version either so I went and added media_rw permission for write external storage in platform.xml; did a reboot and it is working fine now.

For those that are interested here is the section in platform.xml where I added the last line <group gid="media_rw" />

<permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_r" />
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
<group gid="media_rw" />
</permission>

@qsnc p.s. I KNEW how to GOOGLE SEARCH, and i have tried some methods, "setprop" or using Xposed (v3 alpha for 5.1.x) module etc. to enable the call recording, but nothing work there. So finally I asked here (, but sorry about that may be I should asked in Q&A thread).
call recording isn't working on dogo (zr) as well.

also, on dogo, 2nd mic isn't picking up any sound during video record.

seems the audio paths are all messed up by sony. (similar problem on SP as well)

Can I just flash this latest update over older one using recovery if I m already on cm 12 5.1? Or do I have to wipe anything?
I suggest you may backup whole system and data first, then try dirty flash, if you find problems later, you may restore the copy.

I think q&a is a good section for this question, by my previous experience, OP would like this thread to be more development related (correct me if I'm wrong) =]

Finally solved the problems, I believe this is the "baseband not match" problems,

As I have only changed the following items:

  • baseband from the stock rom of 4.2.2 to 5.0.2
  • @qsnc ROM from 0803 to 0806

I did a dirty flash (means NO wipe data, just wipe system,cache and flash the latest version, and gapps used the same one as before)

NOW, the phone goes better deep sleep like 0522, thank you very much to all of you! @qsnc BIG thanks.

For asking questions, follow the link above to q&a thread. For the most recent information about nightlies, enter 'nightly' or 'nightlies' in the thread search bar.
For newer information, wait till someone posts something new...:fingers-crossed:

well people, it has been a long journey, and today after some time of using this device as a daily driver i decided it is time for a new milestone: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/106289/

the download link has been removed from this thread, and nightlies will be available from the next run of the cyanogen build server. this thread remains active and a conduit for you people to report problems and communicate with each other and me... i hope you enjoy!

Hi mate!
So where can we find the download link? I am currently in RR, and I would like to give it a try to your build.
Thanks!

Please wait for the CM build server to build a new nightlies.

You may found this ROM on the offical CM site, as the OP just made it commit on the offical CM, but you need to wait CM build server to build a new nightlies.

People seems not really nice here, but no worry =)
