I got a strange bug on this rom. Some messaging apps like what's app and Facebook messenger can't get Internet connection when on cellular network. Wifi works fine. Play store and the Browser are working perfectly on cellular network.
Anyone got an idea?

Is it better to flash latest nightly just after 4-5 days or just simply stick to the latest snapshot cm12.1? Are the nighlty worthy enough to flash?...
And can i flash nightly over latest snapshot without any wipe??
Its been a week i am on cm12.1 snapshot 10-07-2015 along with Xposed Module "Flat Style"...

Same here bro....me using latest snapshot...are you using nightly???
It's kinda a bug with double-tap to wake. It has always been there, sorta. If you put your phone in your pocket with your screen facing your skin, then it detects touches, everywhere, which causes something to crash and you wont be able to unlock it afterwards. This magical bug will appear as long as it detects a lot of different (usually large, like a palm, or ur legs) touches when the screen is off. I've been using DT2W in a lot of ROMs and kernels since kitkat, all of them are the same. Try to put your phone with its screen facing outside when u put it in your pocket.

So if I just simply disable this doubletap to wakeup feature i wont be facing this problem anymore??? :cyclops:

Yep. Because if u use Doubletap to wake, your LCD is off, but your touch screen is on to detect touch. Then, if it senses weird touches (like i said before), something will crash.

So if u don't need DT2W, disable it and it will be perfect (since our phone didnt really have DT2W to begin with, Sony didnt actually enable it).

But if u feel like it's useful, then just put it in your pocket with screen facing out.

Hope it helps. :D

dt2w & sweat

this might not be enough. once when i was testing the feature i discovered that (when working in summer) sweat in your clothes plus a little pressure also can activate the screen...

Oh that... most, if not all, touch screens will detect water/sweat/most liquids as touch. That's actually normal. Turning off DT2W would definitely be good if the screen gets in contact with something wet a lot, otherwise... my god... that touch driver might crash a lot and you'll have to reboot it a lot.

I've experienced a lot of that too, but mainly cuz i have a habit of washing my phone under the tap, which triggered DT2W and crashed something... *MUST* reboot after every wash LOLLLL

guys, i know there has been some confusion about marshmallow. you can stop messaging me about it ;)
the thing is: i've got marshmallow to work on the xperia z months ago. however, we are having trouble with the camera due to the unique way the camera blobs deal with their data. that is also why i have not posted a build here - the CyanogenMod team expects some sort of standards, and i intend to follow them.
i do not condone others posting builds here, just to satisfy their need for recognition. cyanogenmod has always been and will always be a team effort. you will see a semi-official build for these devices in this thread as soon as all the major hardware is working, and then the usual testing to get nightlies process.
