I am having occasional reboots with my ZL on the 2016-11-01. As the modem part is identical to the Z I think this is also relevant for yuga and this thread seems to be the better frequented.

The last reboot I grabbed a log (/proc/lastkmesg). The relevant part follows:

Code:
[466006.552762] mdm_errfatal: mdm id 0 sent errfatal interrupt

One reboot in about 4-5 days with the 06/11/2016 build in my case, i use one of my C6603 as Voip phone in the original dock, at home.

My question, did anybody managed successfully a network mount? My D6503 has the option in the stock 5.1.1 fw, wanna sync some folders, TiBu, media, etc. - auto of course between my various devices. Cifs modules are not present in the cm13 kernel, so far i see. I don't wanna sync manually over a file manager. Thanks in advance for tips/help.

Can you please check your logs and post the here after a forced reboot? It is located at /proc/last_kmesg it should be readable as root, but be careful it is overwritten every reboot, so if you manually reboot after, it is invalid.

Big sorry, i went back to stock 5.1.1, relocked my BL, yesterday evening. The other C6603 runs CM14.1 atm. Greetz...

But wait, http://download.cyanogenmod.org/get/jenkins/186703/cm-13.0-20161113-NIGHTLY-yuga.zip , there's a new build, maybe the reboots are gone. You should give it a try.

CM does not support Xposed; if you make it work good for you, but don't ask for support or help from CM developers. Whatever the problem is, a CM thread is not the right place to ask about it. Try an Xposed thread or contact Xposed developers.

Edit : It is stated in the OP of this thread by the CM maintainer, very clearly.

I cannot use xposed too on the latest builds (i am currently downloading cm-13.0-20161122-NIGHTLY build for test). Until a month ago i was using xposed without any problems with every nightly build. Lets hope it works again soon knowing that we cannot ask for support since its not supported.

I have had a different problem with dma, but I think it's probably solved in my builds. Check PM.

Thanks, I'm on odin, so this won't help. I should probably mention this every time, and not hope somebody sees my a few weeks old post. But it's good to know that this will be fixed sometime.

btw.: is https://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/140544/ relevant for fusion3 as well? This should cleanup dmesg a fair amount.

From my experience with the ZL (in regards to cm it is the same as the Z): Reboots every few week or so, seemed to have gotten better in the 1204 nightly or I am lucky. Loosing wifi and not getting reconnected, seems like an AOSP(/CM?) problem, recommendations like changing the network/dhcp stack to legacy in dev options don't seem to work. Rarely stuck location access (probably some apps fault). Things that might be caused by xposed: sometimes sluggishness and rarely redraws of nav bar that take 10s, too wide notifications in portrait when something goes wrong with the auto rotate (very rarely). But I would probably find bugs in stock roms too ;).

Just considering upgrading from CM12.1 to CM13, your post is very helpful to identify the daily issues. :D

For what it's worth, I have none of the above issues with CM 13 builds for the Z. ( I don't use Google applications or Xposed. For location I use UnifiedNlp. )

Yes, that was initially the issue with me too.
However when the overhead is high, the device certainly reboots.
@NamenIos, use my trees from github.com/daedroza and build(cm-14.1) without any problems with SELinux set to enforcing :) that includes many kernel fixes and ZRAM/ DMA / CMA :)
Most of the problems are fixed (auto-brightness, correction with mp-decision, etc)

Dirty-flashing on existing 12.1 upgrades normally to CM 13. Beware you will need compatible GApps though!

    CM-12.1 nightlies are available:
    Official download site
This thread will however remain the prime location for testing new stuff and support on yuga.

    Installation:
If you have anything other than CyanogenMod on your device, do a full wipe, and get compatible gapps!
F2FS support: take a look here

    Testing:
Some very important "rules" for this:
    - Run unmodified versions (no FOTA recovery, no modified kernel, no Xposed framework, etc.)
    - Please dont post "X isnt working" or "random reboots" - provide LOGS for each report you post here. This thread is actually meant for users who are capable of gathering and providing logs, so after a reboot, provide last_kmsg, and for all other problems, dmesg and logcat at the very least.
    - If you can reproduce your problem, you might want to increase the logging level before posting it here, which will increase chances of me finding the problem.

I will have to ignore all other "problem reports" as they are essentially useless.

    Thanks:
@andyvdsteen - testing, lending me his phone

    Source:
If you are willing (and able) to help, check out the patch sets, test them for the respective projects (fusion3 is also pollux, odin, and so on).

guys, i know there has been some confusion about marshmallow. you can stop messaging me about it ;)
the thing is: i've got marshmallow to work on the xperia z months ago. however, we are having trouble with the camera due to the unique way the camera blobs deal with their data. that is also why i have not posted a build here - the CyanogenMod team expects some sort of standards, and i intend to follow them.
i do not condone others posting builds here, just to satisfy their need for recognition. cyanogenmod has always been and will always be a team effort. you will see a semi-official build for these devices in this thread as soon as all the major hardware is working, and then the usual testing to get nightlies process.

well people, it has been a long journey, and today after some time of using this device as a daily driver i decided it is time for a new milestone: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/106289/

the download link has been removed from this thread, and nightlies will be available from the next run of the cyanogen build server. this thread remains active and a conduit for you people to report problems and communicate with each other and me... i hope you enjoy!
