Hey all!

I know I haven't uploaded the promised more detailed and higher quality run through video of Ubuntu Touch, but I think it's better off if I wait until a (more) stable version is released, at least then you all get to see more exciting features that the previous video doesn't show, if you still want me to upload a more detailed video of the current version, then just let me know via PM or on here (preferably by PM to prevent spamming the thread out)

Cheers!

I'm having issues with the WiFi and cellular network. Neither are working.
Might be extremely bad connection here in the northern Norway, but still.
And the WiFi-button doesnt work at all. When trying to click it nothing happends.

And IF this is covered somewhere, I'm sorry :p
The UI itself are actually pretty smooth!
Looking forward to a decent working version :)

Edit: The wifi worked when I dragged down the statusbar and went from there, but still cannot choose WiFi from the settings-screen.
Cellular still doesnt work.

Hey

It has already been covered in this post here where there's a full buglist of the things I've found so far

Does someone know why cellular and speaker do not work?
Is it a driver problem because they are proprietary and not available for ubuntu?
Is there a chance, that Ubuntu Touch makes progress on C6603?

for those interested in what is happening currently there is no way for us to fix anything as now the developers are doing most of the work on Nexus device but hang in there.. progress isnt far for our device likely by 2014 we will see something :)

@tseyksuli make sure you have all the adb and running successfully on your computer

if you are still confused I suggest following my thread

using your terminal from your linux Im Using Ubuntu 13.04 -> adb shell
you should get ~#
cd sdcard - > ~# cd sdcard
~# ls - > should list out everything on sdcard
now cp 70-yuga.rules /data/ubuntu/usr/lib/lxc-android-config/
clear cache
reboot see if it works..

    Hello to all of you,

I have some very sad news especially for Xperia Z1 and ZU users..

But first I wanna give a lot of thanks to all of you for the great support and confidence in me throughout my development times here on XDA, I've met some wonderful people and learned a lot. I know people respect me and it's given me a great feeling of satisfaction.

I have some really difficult issues/situation to deal with in real life now, I can't keep running away from it. I'm sorry to announce to the entire community I'll stop development right now.

I don't know if and when I'll come back. I hope I can come back, but it all depends on my personal situation. Please don't sent me a lot of pm's about the issues. Thank you.

    Regards to all of you,

    :D damn, very nice job!

only 3 bugs, very impressive :)

Weltk, there might be more small bugs :D it's still in early stages and it isn't fast :p but if someone wants a taste of Ubuntu Touch it's here as good possible now, I'll try to fix some more little things of possible
