Use flashify on play store to install twrp or cwm.
Or download the twrp file from the twrp homepage and install with flashify.
Easiest way to do it , no need for adb...

Not exactly what I was asking. On the front page, it states, amongst the other features, that the kernel installs TWRP. I was looking for a way to avoid having to install TWRP with the installation of the kernel via CWM. jeroenqui answered my question in his previous post, which you should check out.

Thanks anyways for the information. Might come in handy some time around.

Can anyone here confirm a bug with FM Radio? Spirit is working fine with stock SlimKat 4.4.4 kernel by infected, but if I flash Meow on it, both Spirit UL and Spirit 2 are failing. I have emailed Mike and he said that probably Qualcomm FM Kernel Driver is not working.

---------- Post added at 09:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:46 AM ----------

Can you explain whether Linaro/Sabermod have anything to do with kernel or just ROM? I still think that both Linaro and ART are kinda placebo, but maybe I am doing it wrong. If I flash Meow on a ROM that is compiled using Linaro/Sabermod, will the benefits of those still be available?

Your kernel is Rocking with existing features and it has EVERY thing we want.....so please dnt add anything and also dnt remove anything :p LOL

I second that. The hype is getting to me lol. But, take your time to make the product that you deem, based on your so far excellent criteria, worthy of release. And of course, no bloatware as one of the major reasons I'm opting mod my XZ (aside from improving performance in general) is to remove all of Sony's and Google's garbage that comes with a stock XZ.

Original settings: 945000 - 1050000 -1150000
My settihgs: 930000 - 1000000 -1100000

After a reboot, I see again the old original settings.

Create an file on your SD with only:

#!/system/bin/sh
echo 930000 1000000 1100000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/gpu_mv_table

Name the file something like 99gpu_vdd.

Move it to System/Etc/init.d and set correct permissions (0755 or 0777)

This kernel does not support latest CM11 ROM.. ATM You can try Lightning kernel it is so awesome and smooth and now it also supports Thomas's CM11 ..once meow get updated u can shift to meow :)

Just here to cheer jeronqui on for his progress on the update! I'm getting anxious for the inteli thermal function of this kernel... My XZ is constantly hitting 49 degrees Celsius. Plus, phone is still sitting without mods (going to mod with the update's release) so bloatware is annoying as well lol.

Does anyone knows how to fix the problem of having 'Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopoed' pop up? I have tried to install the kernel right after installing the pac rom and also tried the latest 2 kernel versions but still has that pop up...
I am using Pac Rom 4.4.4 RC-1

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Kernel in its current state supports 4.4.4. We're currently waiting on the update from jeronqui that will bring 4.4.4 support and .233 blobs framework. He hinted towards progress almost a month+ back but has since not responded sooo.... Here's hoping he's still working on it. :(

Well, I was waiting untill CM merged the .569 Sony updates, but it's taking way too long. So I decided to start working on it again and try to fix the issues. I hope to put out an updated version in the coming few days.

If I can't solved the problem that it's not interchangable between all ROMS, I'll release seperate versions for the different major ROM's

Please help me compile a list, but I think there are 3 ROM's with different bases:
    - CM11 based ROMS
    - PAC
    - Omni

So, I'll release 3 different versions for these, and we can see which version fits other ROMS as well.

But that's just in case :D

Sorry to have kept you all waiting so long
