If you wish to build it for yourself, simply follow: http://pastebin.com/KR9ycQL1 (My internet's having some issues, so not everything is on Gerrit yet)

And if you encounter bugs, please do not hesitate to report them here until the device becomes official, at which point you may report it on our Jira instance. :)

Also, special thanks goes out to @S.D.Richards for testing!

20140717 Build:
- Fixed video playback. Sorry about that.

20140716 Build:
- Reverted Wi-Fi changes; Wi-Fi should be working again
- Changed power HALs
- Mainline changes
- More of a preparation build as we are about to switch into nightly mode :)

20140710 Build:
- Enabled low-latency audio and gapless playback on the Z Ultra
- Fixed up some mic props that weren’t being set properly
- Experimenting a bit with the Wi-Fi; Trying to figure out why battery's draining when not connected to a network
- Fixed the camera preview stopping after one shot
- Did some device tree cleanup, but you don't really notice a difference as a user heh

Pimped kernel wont boot very new ROMs as there were lots of changes last week. I've just merged it all in and am doing a build at the moment. But as @Jiangyi said for them to debug stuff you will need to be on their kernel

Jiangyi are you just using pure cm-11.0 kernel?

Edit: answered my self ;)... yes, with defconfig chages

I've already gone back to the backup of the GPe port that I made prior to installing the 7/6 build earlier today.Gotta get my head down soon as I've work in 7 hours.

P.S. I originally dirty flashed (and cleared cache & dalvik) over the 7/6 build, when WiFi wouldn't turn on there, I rebooted to recovery, wiped system, data, cache and tried again, setup wizard told me to turn wifi on, but presented me no switch with which to do so.

missing wifi module?

Give me a few min and I'll flash and test, will give me something to do while my test kernel builds...

New build is up. Changelog is in the second post.
What' the difference in -caf-bfam to -caf and -caf-new?

Huh, I don't see errors related to Wi-Fi.. Even though there's quite a lot of other things. -caf-bfam is what we call -caf-new at Omni. -caf is for Snapdragon 600 devices and below, basically.

I had the same issue with wifi on C6833. I tried clean and dirty flash, neither workes. Otherwise i liked the rom from what i could see. But no wifi is no-go.

When i tried to turn it on, the slider or circle went on, but got stuck there.

Try the 0706 build, that should be okay. I'm going to pull the 0710 build.
The only issue I can see with the 0706 build is that the WiFi Tethering doesn't work. This doesn't work on the CM build either, however. I suspect it's related to WPA since I believe it works with WPA disabled (will test later.) I should point out that tethering also *does* work on the ported GPe AOSP builds.

Other than that - I'm absolutely loving this ROM! I greatly hope you continue to work on it - I'd love to get on the nightlies list for OmniROM - I greatly prefer it to CM.

Edit: I also threw a few dollars your way, keep up the awesome work! :)
