I suggest if u want to use stock secondary
Dont use the zip as it is

Rather use back2stock zip made for our device

And patch that back2stock for secondary and flash via in app flashing
hi,

Tried the same but unable to patch back2stock.zip but no success giving error unable to patch.
:(

Anyone tried successfully using other way then guide me.

I am using optimised version of MM rom as secondary ROM from
https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-2-laser/development/rom-smoothified-stock-rom-t3404050
It is patchable using DBP and work flawless... Just be patient while first boot. Although its not latest MM update as developer has abandoned the project... there are no major changes in new updates so its sufficient, you will miss nothing.
It supports volte.

Thanks, i found another work around .

A. First i took backup of rr and secondary rom using dualboot patcher.
B. Then using twrp wiped system, data, cache, del cache.
C. Installed latest stock rom in back2stock.
Rooted stock & installed dualboot patcher.
D. Then dbp, restored RR in data section :)

Now today upgraded RR with latest build.

But facing issue i.e. application share not working ... tried all way.

Shared RR rom applications but those not coming in stock rom.

Please guide..

U have to turn on app sharing in both roms
Like u have turned on in rr
Now goto stock rom and turn on app sharing in stock rom also

U cannot use secondary slot
Coz
There is not much space available there
As u have primary rom stock and stock rom takes almost full 3gb of system partition

U can install 2 custo. Roms in system partition

Hey OP. Can I dual boot two custom roms having Android versions 5.1.1 and 7.1.2? The Lollipop one requires a lollipop firmware (of course) while the other one needs a marshmallow firmware. Can I do this?
